🍂 With the change of seasons, wind often becomes a noticeable factor. For livestock farmers, this can mean an increased risk of drafts in the barn, which may negatively affect the barn climate and, consequently, animal health. Scan-Air’s wind hoods offer a practical solution. They are easy to mount on our wall inlets on the outside of the barn and effectively reduce direct wind entry — without obstructing the airflow.
We offer two types of wind hoods:
The WBK-rond:
- Curved wind hood
- Three fixed sizes, depending on the size of the wall inlets (700/900/1180 mm)
- Optionally available with a light trap at the bottom
- Wall mounting
and the WBK:
- Defailt wind hood
- Dimensions based on wall inlets
- Wall-mounting or mounting to inlet
- White or transparent back panel
