Scan-Air’s High pressure evaporative cooling works by evaporating tiny water droplets, which results in a temperature drop within the space. Depending on the relative humidity (RH) of the outside air, the barn temperature can be reduced by up to 8 degrees Celsius.
A key component of the system is a pump unit that is securely and vibration-free mounted. A plastic pipeline runs the length of the barn, equipped with stainless steel nozzles positioned above all air inlets (negative pressure ventilation) or blow-in fans (positive pressure ventilation). This ensures that the mist, generated under high pressure, is evenly distributed throughout the barn.
